Governing Rules
This scholarship is a one-time, non-renewable grant. Any tax obligation arising from the award is the responsibility of the recipient.
Undergraduate applicants must be full-time sophomores, juniors, or seniors currently enrolled in college.
No application will be considered until all materials have been received. Each applicant is personally responsible for meeting all application deadlines.
No application materials received after the deadline will be considered.
Undergraduate applicants will be notified of their status by June 1. Master’s degree students will be notified by January 10.
Applications for the Master’s student scholarship to attend the chapter conference can be submitted by Jan 30 to be considered for attendance at the Southern Chapter’s annual conference. Notification will be provided by Feb 9.
Scholarship recipients may not transfer to another institution or field of study during the award year except by prior notification to the Scholarship Selection Committee.
This scholarship is awarded without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, or handicap status.
All applicants must be United States citizens.
All applicants must be residents and students within the geographic area of the ISA Southern Chapter: Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Arkansas, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands.
