Call for Abstracts

Submission Deadline: November 2, 2026

Presenters must be available to present on February 23 or February 24.

Submit your abstract on topics related to arboriculture and urban forestry. Proposals from a broad range of disciplines, including forestry, horticulture, utilities, and related fields are welcome. Presentations featuring applied research, practice-based case studies, innovative technologies, and emerging trends are especially encouraged. Faculty, students, and practitioners are all welcome to submit abstracts.

Commercial presentations, sales pitches, and product promotions will not be accepted.

Early submissions are encouraged, as presentation slots are limited.

Abstracts will be reviewed as they are received. Authors will typically be notified of the review decision within two to three weeks of submission.

Presenters whose abstracts are accepted are expected to register for and attend the conference. Conference registration is provided for presenters; however, honoraria are not offered. If you require travel reimbursement or a speaker fee, please indicate this in your submission narrative.

Presentation Format

  • Presentation length will be determined by the Program Committee based upon the conference schedule Most speakers are assigned a 30-minute presentation with 5-6 minutes Q&A.

  • Presenters must be available to present on February 23 or February 24.

  • Selected presenters will receive a confirmation email along with presentation guidelines and additional information.

Guideline for Abstracts

  • Abstracts are limited to 250 words.

  • Identify the appropriate topic area for your presentation.

  • Abstracts should be in paragraph form (do not use bullet points).

  • Abstract should include background, purpose, methods, results, and conclusions of the project.

  • Indicate topic for presentation

  • Include five key words

Speaker Biographical Information

  • Please submit a brief biographical paragraph that includes your current job title. Do not submit a curriculum vitae (CV).
